On 13th April 2022, the Secretary of State wrote an open letter to the CPA in which he thanked the CPA and our respective members for the efforts put into the remediation process for building safety and cladding. However, he also shared his desire for manufacturers to do more as he believes that there has been no movement from the sector. The CPA chief executive has politely outlined to him the positive and proactive approach the committee are taking and the need for assistance from Government to take an active lead in the remediation process.
