The CPA has submitted its representation to the Chancellor of the Exchequer ahead of the Autumn Statement on the 17 November. In the letter, CPA Chief Executive Peter Caplehorn writes: “The UK faces difficult economic headwinds, and the Government is rightly making the difficult choices to help secure a more prosperous future. Ahead of the Autumn Statement, the Construction Products Association (CPA) wishes to stress the importance of the construction and manufacturing sectors in helping to enable and support the country’s long-term productivity and economic growth.
