External Affairs Committee

The External Affairs Committee ("EAC") meets twice a year to offer its insight and expertise on matters pertaining to public affairs and the marketing and communication of the CPA's key messages. It offers guidance on strategy, particularly to whom our policies are directed; i.e., government, civil servants and the wider construction industry. It helps to coordinate lobbying, marketing and communications activity across the membership. The EAC is open to all members and is represented by a cross-section of industry professionals, including PR, marketing and government relations. Two working groups have been set-up to support the wider EAC: a Public Affairs Committee, focused on government relations, and a Marketing and Communications Group.
