Marketing Integrity Group (MIG)
In response to Chapter 7 of the Hackitt Report, CPA established the Marketing Integrity Group (MIG), chaired by Adam Turk (CEO of Siderise) and deputy chaired by Catherine Fyfe (Genuit Group). The group are tasked with establishing a scheme to make product information clear, unambiguous, transparent and rigorous.
To ensure that the group not only responded to the conclusions of the Hackitt Report, but also more detailed input from industry, the MIG launched a Call for Evidence on Construction Products Information, the results of which were published in Our Initial Findings. Read 'Construction Product Information: Our Initial Findings' Survey
Based on the findings from the Survey, the MIG was launched an industry-wide consultation into a new proposed Code for Construction Product Information (CCPI). The aim of this consultation was to gather the views on the Code before it is formally launched later this year. Results from the consultation can be found here.
In September 2021, the Code for Construction Product Information (CCPI) was published. Construction Product Information Ltd – a not-for-profit organisation with independent governance and management has been set-up to administer the CCPI. Organisations can register now.
